I would like a painting by Animal Artisans Studio, how do I begin?

Your Pet’s Portrait by Animal Artisans Studio are fully personalized, custom, hand-painted oil painting portraits.  To begin personalizing your portrait select “Create Your Portrait Now” on the left.  You will be taken through a simple process to create your custom masterpiece.

How do I send my photographs?

During the online ordering process you will submit your digital images in our easy photo upload section.  We accept jpg, tif, png, and pdf files.  Please submit as large of file as possible.  If you have a physical photograph or film, please send it to:

What size should I choose?

Animal Artisans Studio offers a variety of sizes to compliment any room.  Our most popular size, 16 x 20, fits moderately sized rooms and is perfect to be hung on the wall.  For large rooms, a larger portrait looks better within the space.  For a small office or bedroom, we recommend either 8 x 10 or 11 x 14.

Can I choose a background?

You can select from one of our many beautiful backgrounds, use the natural background found in your pet’s photograph, or include a background from a separate photograph.

Can I have two pets in one painting?

Of course, we can add multiple pets and people to the painting.  They can even be from different photographs.

How long will it be until I receive my portrait?

Because our artist use an intricate process of layering colors, please allow 3 months for the completion and shipment time of your portrait.

Will I see my portrait before it is sent?

Yes, we will send you a digital image of your painting during the process to ensure you are absolutely satisfied with the portrait.

How much will my portrait cost?

We have a wide selection of sizes and options to fit any budget.  Regardless of the size you select you can assured that our portraits are of the highest quality.  Your satisfaction is our top priority.

Can you frame my portrait?

Of course.  Adding a frame to your portrait will create a ready-to-hang, exquisite piece of art that is certain to impress.  We have a variety of beautiful frames you can select from.

How will the portrait be shipped?

The portrait will be shipped FedEx from the China.  We will then stretch the canvas, frame it, and package it for delivery from our office in Indiana.  FedEx will deliver the package safely to your door.

What if this is a gift?

If you would like to give a portrait as a gift, we can assist you in keeping it a surprise.  You can specify a separate mailing address and contact phone number to ensure the recipient does not know about the present.
