Thank you very
much for visiting our web site. We hope that you enjoy seeing our three galleries of
beautiful portraits that have been painted for our
clients. We take great pride in knowing that every single one of our
customers has been absolutely delighted with their pet's portrait, not
only because the portraits are superb and look like their pets, but
because our artists captured their pet's unique personality in each of
the paintings. |

Animal Artisans Studio was launched in 2002 to provide pet owners
with the very highest quality custom oil portraits of their cherished pets
at affordable prices. More than half a dozen of China's very best pet
portrait artists currently work for us, and we continue to grow as we
find other great artists to join our team.
Our artists paint oils on canvas in the traditional manner...
painstaking brush stroke by brush stroke, colors layered upon each
other. When you see our paintings, you will quickly realize that our
artist's are extremely talented, and their skills are matched only by a
few of the very best.
Oil paintings last for centuries, and our paintings are intended to give
you more than a lifetime of pleasure and memories. Because of this, we
only use the best materials for our paintings.
We would like to add your pet's portrait to our portfolio. If you would

Mary Wei, President, is the inspiration behind Animal Artisans Studio. She is an artist
and an animal lover. She lives on a small farm and her menagerie has included dogs, cats, horses,
peacocks, chickens, deer, and a parrot from China. Mary's longstanding passion and keen eyes for collecting
great art, and her deep friendship with some of China's most outstanding contemporary artists put her
in a unique position to launch a pet related art business associated with the extremely talented artists
in China. |

Being the husband of an artistic business owner has its
risks. Al Wei is an engineer with no artistic talents and has been "volunteered"
by Mary to be the Operations Director because: (1) Mary wants the artistic side of his brain
to be developed, and (2) he seems quite good at setting up businesses. During the day, Al is a business
development executive with a major international corporation. |
